Details

Bontrager's H2 Hardcase Plus is a versatile tire that smooths commutes and dirt roads. It features a slick center tread with side grooves for traction in less-than-ideal conditions. Plus, this supple tire has Hardcase technology, that triples your flat protection so you can ride worry free.

1) Bead-to-bead, abrasion-resistant, woven Exo Casing is 16% more resistant to flats from sidewall cuts.
2) Kevlar Durabelt provides an additional 58% increase in puncture resistance.
3) Anti-pinch design is twice as resistant to pinch flats as standard tires without this feature; it also protects the rim from damage.

Comments:

These are great tires. I ride a good deal, often on a path near the ocean where there's sand, etc. Then there's roads w some bumps and rough stuff that encourage me to ride my mountain bike (wearing these hybrid tires the past few years) as opposed to my road bike (w daintier/skinnier tires). I've never had any issues w these great tires. The H2 Hard Case Ultimate are the way to go. They can be a little bit of a bear to get onto the rims, but worth the effort. I love 'em. Just bought my second pair. They're good for 1,000+ miles. I'm riding the 26"x1.5 tires.
