Details

Bontrager's H5 Hardcase Plus is perfect for your everyday commuter. This tough tire has a semi-slick center tread for minimal rolling resistance, water-channeling sipes that redirect liquid away from the tread for traction in wet weather, and slightly raised knobs on the sides that provide cornering traction. Plus, the H5 features Bontrager's Hardcase triple puncture protection because nobody likes to get flats.

1) Bead-to-bead, abrasion-resistant, woven Exo Casing is 16% more resistant to flats from sidewall cuts.
2) Kevlar Durabelt provides an additional 58% increase in puncture resistance.
3) Anti-pinch design is twice as resistant to pinch flats as standard tires without this feature; it also protects the rim from damage.

the gal that helped me @ the Brookings bike shop, was very helpful, I have been in there 3 times, the manger, is very rude and seems to like to, interup, then talking to someone else, I would highly recommend the Watertown, SD bike shop, much more friendly,!

    Comments:

These Tires came on my Trek Shift 3 bike. I've found them to be a great tire. They handle well on paved, gravel, and dirt roads and paths. The tires do very well in turns and even grip well where the roadway has some sand or gravel in it. Roll very smoothly and provide a comfortable ride. Appears to be a very well built tire.
