The Big Honzo is a killer bike for the price. It's got everything you need and nothing you don't. Hubs featuring Boost spacing hold nice, beefy 2.8" tires. Hydraulic disc brakes and an 11-speed drivetrain keep the ride feel consistent and intuitive. This is the perfect bike for when you need a little extra grip rolling over tricky roots and rocks.
The Big Honzo DL is exactly what the name implies. It's a Honzo with bigger tires and a nice build kit featuring hydraulic disc brakes and 130mm of suspension. You'll get a little extra squish thanks to the 2.8" tires that absorb bumps with ease. Comfortable geometry and an adjustable travel dropper post ensure you're always at just the right position on your bike whether you're climbing that big mountain or descending down your favorite flow trail!
Much like its larger-wheeled sibling, the Mahuna, the Cinder Cone is the perfect all-rounder for the person looking to ride off-road or cruise around the backwoods bike paths. It features an air fork with 100mm of travel, as well as a dependable 11-speed drivetrain and disc brakes. If you're a fan of plus bikes, you can run up to 2.8" tires. The Cinder Cone is where the mountain meets functionality at a great price.
This Kona classic brings some of the finer things to light. The Fire Mountain is running a smooth-shifting 9-speed drivetrain to keep things manageable across varying terrain and hydraulic disc brakes to stop on a dime. With 100mm of adjustable suspension and sturdy tires aboard wider 27mm rims, the Fire Mountain helps build confidence off-road. Available for smaller riders in a 26" wheeled XS version and a 27.5" wheel for sizes S-XL. Wheel size: - Size X-Small: 26-inch - Sizes Small – X-Large: 27.5-inch
Often imitated, but never duplicated, the Honzo is a part of Kona's foundation. The Honzo is the solution for the rider wanting something a bit more aggressive than a traditional cross-country hardtail. A 120mm fork provides just enough suspension to make quick work of technical sections of trail. Whether you're a seasoned rider looking for a timeless hardtail or a newer rider looking to go a bit deeper into the mountain bike world, the Honzo is an excellent choice.
For the hardtail enthusiast, the Honzo DL is a quintessential bike to have in your quiver. Featuring an aluminum frame with geometry derived from the Process 134 it's ready to rip up and down the trails. A short seat tube allows you to run a longer dropper post, and adjustable dropouts allow you to run the bike geared or as a single speed. Sitting squarely between the Honzo and the Honzo ESD – the Honzo DL is the all-round hardtail for any location. KONA 6061 ALUMINUM Kona 7005 and 6061 Aluminum alloys are used extensively throughout our fleet of mountain and asphalt bicycles. A tough, durable, light alloy, both Kona 7005 and 6061 deliver fantastic, reliable performance that lasts for thousands of rides. Much of our 7005/6061 tubing is butted and/or formed, meaning the tubing's wall thickness can be increased or decreased, as well as shaped, so we can fine-tune a particular frame's strength and ride characteristics depending on its intended application. INTERNAL HEADSET Bearing cups are actually pressed into the frame and are easily removable. An internal headset also reduces stack height, so the height of the stem and bars are more adjustable, giving the rider the best fit possible. TAPERED HEAD TUBE More girth at the bottom of the head tube better distributes shock force, prolonging the bearing life of the headset itself and eliminating brake shudder, while providing confident steering performance. The inherent strength of its triangular design also means a stronger steering position and improved balance, giving the rider more control in rough terrain. A zero-stack, tapered head tube also puts strength where the load is going—into the lower headset cup—maximizing bearing durability where it's needed. TUBELESS COMPATIBLE RIMS Tubeless rims allow for tires with more puncture resistance; the ability to run lower tire pressure, which provides better tire grip on the trail; lower rolling resistance; and weight savings over traditional tube and tire systems. 12x148mm AXLE 12x142mm, 12x148 and 12x157 rear axle standards provide two major advantages to the Kona rider: the 12mm diameter of the rear axle provides the rear hub and frame with a stiff interface, while the 142/148/157mm outer diameter of the hub allows the wheel to be quickly and properly positioned in the frame before the rear axle is inserted.
If Mad Max rode a bike, it would be the Honzo ESD. It's part Honzo, part monster, and with geometry that inspired the Process X, it's made for those who want to punish the trails. A steel frame holds a Marzocchi Bomber Z1 fork with 150mm of travel. It's got strong 4-piston brakes, grippy Maxxis rubber, and a headtube badge that will scare your children at night. This is the Warrior of the Wasteland.
It's called the Kahuna for a reason. This bike is the king of our classic hardtail lineup and it's often the bike that makes people realize how awesome a mountain bike can be. With its confidence-inspiring progressive geometry, 29" wheels, 100mm suspension fork, and internal cable routing for an optional dropper post, the Kahuna is at home on your local singletrack or flow park. The Lana'I features integrated shifters and brake levers to streamline the cockpit and is now available in three wheel sizes: 26" for size XS, 27.5" for S and M, and 29" for L and XL. With an 8-speed drivetrain, grippy disc brakes, and a 100mm travel fork, the Lana'I is the perfect way to taste what real singletrack riding has to offer. The fork features 100mm of smooth travel and together with the 29" wheels, helps keep bumps in check. You have complete control over stopping with powerful hydraulic disc brakes.
