The masses have flocked to the Libre. It's known for its ability to crush big rides, carry tons of gear, perform jaw-dropping skids, and may or may not have been tested by wheelieing with one hand while holding a beer in the other. Who knows. Featuring our Carbon Verso fork with its multitude of carrying capabilities, the Libre is the more budget-friendly version of our badass gravel adventure bike. KONA 6061 ALUMINUM Kona 7005 and 6061 Aluminum alloys are used extensively throughout our fleet of mountain and asphalt bicycles. A tough, durable, light alloy, both Kona 7005 and 6061 deliver fantastic, reliable performance that lasts for thousands of rides. Much of our 7005/6061 tubing is butted and/or formed, meaning the tubing's wall thickness can be increased or decreased, as well as shaped, so we can fine-tune a particular frame's strength and ride characteristics depending on its intended application. INTERNAL HEADSET Bearing cups are actually pressed into the frame and are easily removable. An internal headset also reduces stack height, so the height of the stem and bars are more adjustable, giving the rider the best fit possible. TAPERED HEAD TUBE More girth at the bottom of the head tube better distributes shock force, prolonging the bearing life of the headset itself and eliminating brake shudder, while providing confident steering performance. The inherent strength of its triangular design also means a stronger steering position and improved balance, giving the rider more control in rough terrain. A zero-stack, tapered head tube also puts strength where the load is going—into the lower headset cup—maximizing bearing durability where it's needed. TUBELESS COMPATIBLE RIMS Tubeless rims allow for tires with more puncture resistance; the ability to run lower tire pressure, which provides better tire grip on the trail; lower rolling resistance; and weight savings over traditional tube and tire systems. 12x142mm AXLE 12x142mm, 12x148 and 12x157 rear axle standards provide two major advantages to the Kona rider: the 12mm diameter of the rear axle provides the rear hub and frame with a stiff interface, while the 142/148/157mm outer diameter of the hub allows the wheel to be quickly and properly positioned in the frame before the rear axle is inserted. For 2017, you'll see the 12x148 Boost standard in the mix. Boost spacing provides more tire clearance at the chainstay yoke, while the rear wheel is stiffer and more durable relative to a 12x142 thru-axle.
The Libre CR is for the rider that knows exactly what they want in their gravel bike. You want a double ring for maximum gear range. You want easy-to-manage disc brakes. You want the ability to carry a ton of stuff, even if it's just an occasional need. You want that carbon frame and Verso carbon fork that is stiff, light, and tracks well over anything. You want all of this without breaking the bank. Bingo! We've got you covered. Whether bike packing, ripping the local gravel roads, or out on an epic summer-time century, the Libre CR is fast, efficient, and comfortable across any terrain. KONA CARBON Designed to be lightweight and built to demanding standards. Carbon fiber has long been praised for its weight and strength, but rather than chase grams, we place our efforts on the performance that is possible when the right high-modulus fibers are in the right places. Our designers work very closely with our manufacturer to ensure there is no compromise to the desired ride characteristics, durability and – finally – weight stipulations that we expect from our bikes. INTEGRATED HEADSET Integrated headsets are simple, light and effective headset systems whereby the bearing race cups are actually part of the head tube, and they are either machined away and left with the head tube, bonded (carbon), or welded in with steel or alloy. Like an internal headset, an integrated headset also reduces stack height, so the height of the stem and bars are more adjustable, giving the rider the best fit possible. TAPERED HEAD TUBE More girth at the bottom of the head tube better distributes shock force, prolonging the bearing life of the headset itself and eliminating brake shudder, while providing confident steering performance. The extra air volume in this new generation of urban and mixed-surface tires means they can be run comfortably at lower pressures while still rolling quickly on a variety of surfaces. It's the best of both worlds.
The cream of the crop, the Libre CR DL leaves no stone…er piece of gravel unturned. This gorgeous Race Light Carbon frame provides both performance and comfort across varying terrain. The Libre CR DL features a Kona Verso Carbon fork and can carry a ton of gear via bento box mounts, 3-pack cage mounts, and numerous water bottle bosses. Bike packing not your thing? That's cool too because this bike hauls ass over gravel, pavement, or whatever you want to throw at it. Engage the dropper post to slay that nasty little section of singletrack. You can be sure the grippy 45c tires will have you covered. KONA CARBON Designed to be lightweight and built to demanding standards. Combine that with his more than 50 years of designing and building bicycles, and it’s no wonder the Outback has become an icon in the gritty world of gravel and adventure bikes. Wrapped in tasty Guac y Crema paint, or the new Granite & Snow colorway, the Outback sports several practical and adaptable features that offer riders the ability to chase epic ride experiences beyond the end of the road and the end of the day. Rack and fender mounts help to keep things dry and expand the load-carrying capacity for longer bikepacking adventures, while clearance for 700c x 48mm or 650b x 2.0in tires opens up a whole new world of possibilities. Doubling down on the Outback’s practical performance, an all-carbon fiber Ritchey Adventure Fork with multi-purpose mounts on the legs gives you more places to stow the supplies you gather at the last café. The Outback is painstakingly TIG-welded with proprietary triple-butted Ritchey Logic steel tubing that now sports an updated one-piece truss design for flat mount brakes* - providing as much stiffness and strength of previous mounts while significantly reducing chainstay weight. Bikepacking, road, off-road, trail, expedition, you name it…the Ritchey Outback is designed do it all. - Includes Ritchey Adventure Fork with multipurpose mounts - Accepts 700c x 48mm or 650b x 2.0in tires - Features rack and fender mounts - Heat-treated, triple-butted Ritchey Logic II tubing - Includes Ritchey WCS Carbon Adventure 12x100mm thru-axle fork - Forged and machined straight head tube - Full length housing stops for use with cable or hydraulic brakes - Front and rear flat mount disc brake interface - 12x142mm rear thru-axle

The Road Logic offers a riding experience that's steeped with more than 50 years of life experiences, framebuilding heritage, innovation and exploration. The beauty of its classic lines unites with modern building techniques and proven materials to deliver a contemporary bicycle that's remarkably comfortable for long days in the saddle, nimble and stiff enough to win the sprint for that sign, and adequately adaptable to endure roads that might lack proper pavement. Tom Ritchey's framebuilding experience started in the 1970s when he built his first road frame in his parent's garage in northern California. Since then, Tom has continued to explore, experience and innovate in ways that define the craft. The Road Logic is the result of Tom's expanding legacy, his prodigious experience with steel, and mastery of the subtleties and details gleaned from his tenure in the art of creating bicycles. A true modern classic, Tom designed a heat-treated and triple-butted Ritchey Logic tubeset for the Road Logic, featuring aggressively short-butted sections optimized for TIG welding that save weight and improve ride quality. Ritchey’s proprietary forged-and-machined integrated headtube uses standard drop-in bearings and saves 80 grams over a standard head tube design. Wrapped in a delicious Sally’s Macarons coat of paint, the Road Logic also features spacing for up to 30c tires and a Ritchey Carbon Fork that will ensure a lifetime of enjoyable pedal turns. - Heat-treated, triple-butted Ritchey Logic tube set features short-butted sections optimized to save weight and improve ride quality - Painted to match Ritchey full carbon fork included - Forged and machined straight head tube - Standard road spacing on frame and fork - TIG welded - Fits tires up to 30c - Logic Zero WCS drop in 1-1/8" headset included

Steeped with more than 50 years of frame-building heritage, innovation, exploration, and lots of riding, the classic lines of this beautiful steel frame and carbon fiber fork unite with modern building techniques and proven materials to deliver a contemporary bicycle that’s wonderfully comfortable for long days in the saddle, nimble and stiff enough to win the sprint for that sign, and adequately adaptable to endure roads that might lack proper pavement. The Road Logic Disc frame is built with a heat-treated and triple-butted Ritchey Logic tubeset designed specifically for the Road Logic. It features aggressively short-butted sections optimized for TIG welding that save weight and improve ride quality. The frameset also includes a Ritchey WCS Carbon Road Fork for precise handling and responsiveness. Updated for 2024, this modern classic now sports compatibility with Shimano’s newest Di2 semi-wireless groupsets. A new drive side dropout design allows for concealed wire routing from the battery in the seat tube, through the bottom bracket area into the chainstay where it makes a stealthy exit to the rear derailleur. But mechanical shifting fans, rejoice - the Road Logic Disc frame retains cable stops for mechanical groupsets. On the non-drive side chainstay sits a new one-piece truss design for flat mount brakes - providing as much stiffness and strength of previous mounts while reducing chainstay weight significantly. With purpose-driven design, unyielding attention to detail, and modern features, the new Road Logic Disc almost telepathically delivers an amazing ride experience unlike any other bike. It’s fast, nimble, comfortable, and perfectly suited for wherever your rides take you. - Heat-treated, triple-butted Ritchey Logic tube set features short-butted sections optimized to save weight and improve ride quality - Now compatibility with Shimano newest Di2 semi-wireless groupsets - Painted to match Ritchey full carbon fork - Forged and machined straight head tube - Standard road spacing on frame and fork - Fits tires up to 30c - Ritchey WCS Carbon Road Fork included - 12x142 thru axle (included with frame) - Logic Zero WCS drop in 1-1/8" headset included
